YOUTH ARTS ACADEMY

"Inspiring our youth to appreciate the Arts, while building self-esteem and confidence."

Serving more than 230 students each year, the Youth Arts Academy was established in 2007 to accommodate the growing number of students interested in performing arts.  The program began in 1999 as Music Matters and focused mainly on music programs.  Since then, performing arts programs have become more & more limited at the public schools and even non-existent in some areas.  To keep performing arts alive, the Youth Arts Academy was born in Carmel Valley and provides music classes, rock bands, private lessons, dance classes, and a theater program.  Through the Youth Arts Academy, youth, ages 5-18, have access to a myriad of quality programs designed to stimulate their growth and creativity, while expressing themselves through the performing arts.  Due the success of this program, many students have graduated from high school and have moved on to college with hopes of becoming professional in their respective art.
